Good to Know

Clear terms, no surprises.

Defined scope

Each package covers its listed items or its included hours, whichever comes first. Additional work is $85/hour, approved by you in advance.

Airport rides

Rides are scheduled through Uber, Lyft or a licensed black-car service based on your budget. CORDINEL coordinates transportation but does not provide it. Fares are billed at cost or paid directly by you.

Flights

CORDINEL is not a travel agency. Flights are not included in any package. On request, we can research options and book flights directly with the airline using your account and payment method, once you approve each itinerary; this time counts toward your hours. We do not sell or issue tickets, hold travel funds or provide travel insurance. Fares, changes, cancellations and refunds are between you and the airline.

Meals

CORDINEL recommends restaurants, menus and caterers and places grocery delivery orders. We do not prepare or cook food.

Purchases

Gifts, groceries, rides, catering and rentals are paid on your card or billed at cost with your approval. Gift shopping is done online; in-store shopping is not included.

In-person visits

Visit time counts toward your package hours. Mileage is billed separately.

Booking

Packages are paid in full at booking and hours do not carry over after January 10. Limited to 6 households. Book by November 13 for Thanksgiving and by December 5 for Christmas.

Your decisions

You approve every booking, vendor and purchase before it is made. CORDINEL coordinates on your behalf and never commits your money without your say-so.

Beyond the Holidays

House manager support, all year.

Many Holiday Desk clients find they would like the same help all year. CORDINEL offers remote and part-time house manager support: the household calendar, vendors and maintenance, deliveries, and grocery and household restocks, all handled with discretion.
